After School Club - "Hubletts"

Our after school club is called Hubletts, it is run by our own staff Mrs Buck and Mrs Stretton and is available to everyone daily until 4.30pm, with the option to extend to 5.30pm if needed. 


There are currently three options for after school care which are all booked via your child's school Gateway account.

1. Sports club followed by Hubletts (Collect at 4.30pm) £3

2. Hubletts (Collect at 4.30pm) £5

3. Hubletts with extension (Collect at 5.30pm at Infants School) £10


Children attending club will be provided with a snack and a drink around 4pm.  If you require the extension to 5.30pm you must pre-register as the staff are external and the last hour is hosted at the Infants School. Please fill out the registration form below and return to us BEFORE they need a place. Please also take note of the Infants mobile number (07572 793436) to contact them if you have any last minute changes to pick up.


How do I book?

The way all School Clubs are booked and paid for is via your child’s School Gateway Account. It is EXTREMELY important that you download the app or create a log in from their website to access all the schools services and communications.


How do I access School Gateway?

1. Download the App or type School Comms into your web browser

2. Create new user (if you have not used an account before)

3. Enter your mobile number and email (this MUST match those provided to us here at school).


I am struggling to set up my account what can I do?

Don't worry! Email, call or drop into the school office and Mrs Smith and Mrs Taylor will be happy to help.

Holiday Clubs

A message from Challenge Sport Education       


We are delighted to announce that holiday courses throughout the year will be run by Challenge Sport coaches at Hobletts Manor Junior School. As you may expect there will be some changes to normal procedures and we have done our best to highlight these below. We have also created a short video explanation of how courses will run. Unfortunately due to the decreased capacity, a lot of our normal ‘extras’ such as refunds for missed days, flexibility with drop off times, on the day bookings etc have had to be taken away.


Course Information

There will be a maximum of 15 children per venue per week. Booking must be made for the week NOT by the day. The cost is £125 (£25 per child per day).                                                                                                                                           

There are no sibling discounts or refunds for cancelled / missed days. After booking you will have a consultation call. If, within 24 hours of that  you wish to cancel you will receive a full refund.                                                          

Courses run from 9am - 3pm with no late or early drop off times                                                                          

Courses are open to children who are currently in Year 1 - Year 6 with no exceptions (regardless of the sporting ability of your child in reception).                                                                                                                             

There will be three coaches on each day and these coaches will remain the same throughout the week                

We will have access to all the normal equipment and areas of usage. Non contact sport will be played but other variations of games such as basketball / hockey / football etc will be played                                                         

Hand washing / equipment cleaning will be constant throughout the day                                                                 

Social distancing will be enforced with the exception of first aid. Temperature checks will be taken at drop off.  If there are less than 10 children in a bubble group we may cancel the week. We will always give you at least 7 days notice if we are going to cancel.

Other Information                                                                                                                                                       

 If your child misses a day, we will have to decide if you are putting the whole group at risk by returning. As a guide, if your child is going to a different camp on one of the days then they will not be able to return. If your child is missing a day because you are spending the day together as a family then it will be ok to return.                                         

Once you have booked you will receive a consultation call to go through how the days run and what you will need to know. If, within 24 hours of this call, you wish to cancel you will receive a 100% refund
