Hello everyone,

As usual, we have been extremely busy in our lessons.

In English this week, we have continued our learning of fables. We have been learning how to extend sentences, using conjunctions and have been busy discussing and planning our own fables. It’s really tricky to think of a story and match it to a fable, but we have worked hard and are all ready to begin our story writing on Monday.  

In maths this week we have been learning how to use known facts to add or subtract to/from multiples of 100 in tens. We will continue with this until the end of term.

As you all know, with the Year 3 Christmas concerts just around the corner, we have been rehearsing as much as possible, trying on our costumes and learning the many songs that will make our play really special for you.

In computer lessons, we brushed up on our computing skills and practised TTRockstars.

Friday has been the best day of all! Christmas jumper day! What great fun we’ve had. It was lovely to eat Christmas dinner with our teachers too.
