Welcome to Year 3 and Team Azure 2026/27

Your teacher is Miss Parry

Your teaching assistants are Miss Kellaway and Ms Morris.

Next week in English we will be continuing our writing based on ‘Mini Rabbit Not Lost.’ We will be writing a character description and the ending of Mini Rabbit's return journey.

Next week in Maths, we will be learning the order of addends and how their order does not change the answer to a calculation. We will look to combine addends to ten when adding three numbers and use the 'make ten' strategy for addends that bridge ten.

Next week in Science we will continue our investigation on ‘What do plants need for life and growth?’ We will plant seeds and remove one basic need for each, so that we can observe their growth over a period of time. We will carry out daily tasks to take photos and record our results for the next two weeks.

Team Azure PE days are Tuesday and Friday.

Each Monday we visit the library and each Friday we look forward to receiving Reading Records as we look to celebrate reading at home.
