'Learning and Achieving Together'
‘Religious Education provokes challenging questions about the ultimate meaning and purpose of life, beliefs about the self and the nature of reality, issues of right and wrong and what it means to be human.’
At Hobletts Manor Junior School we believe that Religious Education has an important role to play in preparing our children for adult life. We aim to provide a curriculum that develops a knowledge and understanding of world religions and provides opportunities to compare beliefs. We encourage each child to develop their sense of identity and belonging: to develop individually, within their community and as a member of a diverse society and a global citizen. As a school we aim to enable our children to develop a respect for and sensitivity to others, in particular those whose faiths, beliefs and world views are different to their own.
Termly Festival Days further support and enrich children's learning.
