This week in English we wrote our own non-chronological reports about our own monsters. We used a range of adverbials and prepositions to add detail as well as conjunctions and used some possessive apostrophes and relative clauses too! In Maths this week, multiplied and divided whole numbers and decimal numbers by 10, 100 and 1000.
In Science this week, we planned a fair test and investigated if the temperature of water affected how quickly salt dissolved into the water. In RE, we learnt about the 10 commandments and how important they are as a set of rules to Jewish people. In DT, we learnt about the wellness plate and identified what we need to eat to have a healthy, well balanced diet. In French, we learnt the names of some body parts and in computing, we continued to use coding to create a simple catching game.
Next week in English, we will start our new class book, The Wolves in the Walls and will give our personal opinions about the book and will write from the viewpoint of the characters in the book. In Maths, we will be learning to identify factors and multiples of numbers.
Have a great weekend!
