We have had a busy week in Team Topaz!
In Maths, we have been revising multi-step proportion questions and column questions with missing numbers. In English, we have revised the progressive and perfect forms of verbs, the passive voice and antonym prefixes.
In History,we found out where the Ancient Mayan empire was situated in the world, what modern-day countries the Mayan empire covers and what the major cities in the Mayan empire were. In RE, we found out how people's beliefs affect their views and responsibilities towards the environment. In Science, we found out what the lungs are and what they do and why they help keep us alive!
We also celebrated the 80th anniversary of VE day with a special assembly that lots of Team Topaz took part in. It was a very moving tribute which was greatly appreciated by our school and local community.
