     Your class teachers are Mrs Vipond and Mrs Short.
    Your teaching assistants are Mrs Buck and Mrs Brewster

    We have had a busy week in Team Turquoise!

    In Maths, we have been revising multi-step proportion questions and column questions with missing numbers. In English, we have revised the progressive and perfect forms of verbs, the passive voice and antonym prefixes.

    In History,we have looked at aspects of life for the Maya and in RE, we found out how people's beliefs affect their views and responsibilities towards the environment. In Science, we found out what the lungs are and what they do and why they help keep us alive and in PSHE we continued to focus on how we can sustain positive mental health.

    We also celebrated the 80th anniversary of VE day with a special assembly that lots of Team Turquoise took part in. It was a very moving tribute which was greatly appreciated by our school and local community.

    Next week is SATs week, the tests will be taking from Monday to Thursday:

    Monday = Grammar, Punctuation & Spellings

    Tuesday = Reading

    Wednesday = Paper 1 (Arithmetic) and Paper 2 (Reasoning)

    Thursday = Paper 3 (Reasoning)

    Remember that there will be SATs breakfast club, Monday to Thursday from 8.15am which free to everyone in Year 6.

    Have a lovely, restful weekend and we look forward to seeing you on Monday.
