Wow! We are certainly ready to enjoy our weekend. I can safely say that Assessment week has been a hot one! The children however, have been absolute stars, working hard in their assessments and completing their Curriculum work really well.
In Science we have been continuing our learning about light and shadows. We had great fun drawing around our shadows throughout the day, to observe the changes. Did you know that early in the morning and later in the evening, our shadows become very long? We will challenge you to find out why!
In Music this week we had great fun composing our own tune on the glockenspiels. We then listened to each other and peer evaluated each others’ work. We were all very proud of our achievements.
In French we learned made spinning tops to help us form questions about animals and their habitats. We are now able to name the habitats and respond by explaining which animals do/do not live there.
In PE we have been practising in preparation for sports week next week.
In PSHE we were learning about the changes that we can and cannot control during puberty.
That’s all for this week – we hope you have a great weekend.
